Having lost my beautiful mother, Pauline, on 7th July 2005 left a void too big to cope with at times. Setting up a Guide Dogs Tribute Fund gave me something good to focus on and it was so important for me as my mum was blind in one eye at the age of forty. She went on to have very little sight left and used her walking stick. She was a very strong, proud woman. If I am half the woman she was I would be proud. She loved animals, especially birds, but she would have loved to see me support Guide Dogs. She knew how much my dog meant to me, and hopefully we can help someone acheive theirs.
